5 Stars A Must Have for Anyone Who Travels!!!
This book is a gold mine! Do your self a favor and buy one for yourself and a few more to have on hand for gifts in the future!!! I consider myself pretty well organized when it comes to travel with our son, but this book gave me so many more ideas and tips. Well worth it, and enjoyable to read!
5 Stars A must-read before you travel overseas with a baby!
I recently purchased several books on traveling with children, and this was by far the best. By the time I finished the book, I had several pages of notes written down, including things to pack that I never thought of, things to do before I go, products to check out and websites to visit. Reading this book has made me feel much more prepared and less nervous for my upcoming trip to France with a 15 month old, and I am confident that our trip can only go smoother having read this one!
5 Stars For Families on the Go!
A must-have resource for families on the go. Interesting reading and packed with helpful tips. Easy-to-use charts to help families find the best airlines, ships, etc. for their specific needs. Perfect gift for parents of young children!
5 Stars This book ROCKS!!!
Seriously, this is a travel bible for new parents. What a huge help this book has been from selecting a good stroller (wished we would have found this BEFORE we had our baby for car seat info too!) to calling ahead to find out if a hotel has a crib saving our trunk space from a pack and play or other. Prepping the diaper bag and carry ons have never been simpler and I have memorized the shopping list for baby must haves while traveling. Never would have thought of some of that stuff! The blog is excellent too. Please give this gift to new mommies and daddies with your baby shower gift…I am so grateful for the different age sections and different types of travel reviews. Thank you Ms. Rivoli!
5 Stars Great help for parents traveling with children
I’m flying to Europe alone with my 18 mo old daughter next month and I found this book to be a great help in preparing for the trip. It contains a lot of useful information, tips, and things I would’ve completely overlooked had I not read this book.

5 Stars Great! Page Turner…….
I purchased this book for my 19 myr. old. The book was a real page-turner according to my teen (who has Autism, Dev. Delays). It is not easy to find interesting readers for my teen, but this Author has written a few books, all of which are excellent! My teen can’t wait for the Author’s next book! I highly recommend for teens, and adolescents!
5 Stars Amazing, Amazing!
Lindsay is 18 years old, on a ten day cruise to the Caribbeans, and has a plan to make it the best vacation she’s ever been on. She’s even made a list of all the things she’s wanted to do but has never done before. Things like: shopping until she drops, drinking strawberry margaritas, kissing cute boys, and even to sleep with a guy for the first time. Her plans seemed promising until she met Ryan, her stepfather’s godson. Although Lindsay finds Ryan attractive, she can’t help but push him away because she feels like he’ll just get in the way of her plans. But when Ryan doesn’t go, Lindsay finds it hard to resist the temptation. Will Lindsay accept her feelings in the end? Or will she hold fast and stick to her plans? Read Caribbean Cruising to find out!
Caribbean Cruising was an amazing book! I would have to give it a 10/10. I found that the story was believable and I was hooked by the very first chapter. The details and experiences in the book were so vivid and in depth that I felt as if I was actually there with the characters themselves. When they climbed a waterfall, I felt as if I was climbing a waterfall. I loved the interaction between Lindsay, Ryan, and the many guys that they meet along the way. I was really hoping that Ryan and Lindsay would get together, but each time she would be stubborn and I would be frustrated because of that. Caribbean Cruising was a fun book to read and I highly recommend this book. It’s short and sweet and will keep you thinking about it long after you’ve finished reading. If you’ve read other books written by Rachel Hawthorne, I suggest that you check this book out. Just like her other books this one is filled with fun romance. And if you haven’t read her other books then I highly suggest that you pick one up today. I promise you won’t regret it!

3 Stars Blah…
It was alright, I only read it, because all of my friends were reading it, but it’s WAY too predictable.

5 Stars Courtesy of Teens Read Too
Ashley Bishop is going to have the best Sweet Sixteen birthday party. She’s asked to forgo the traditional celebration in lieu of a birthday cruise. And her father has agreed to the idea. So Ashley and her boyfriend, half-sister, and four others are off on a cruise to the Bahamas.
Ashley’s half-sister, Charlotte, moved in with Ashley’s family not too long ago. Charlotte had been living with her mother on the west coast. But after her mother is killed in an accident, their mutual father brings Charlotte to New York to live with them. Ashley is determined to make her feel part of the family. She is excited to have a sister that she can share everything with. The only problem is Charlotte doesn’t know the meaning of fun and she’s very reserved. She only wants to spend time with her boyfriend, Sam, and obsessing about getting a scholarship to a good university.
On the first day of the cruise, Ashley meets a waiter, Logan Gallo. They immediately click, and agree to meet up at the dance club that night. One small problem, though - Ashley’s boyfriend, Finn, is along on the cruise. However, after Finn scares her in the hallway, it’s the final straw. Ashley has been trying to break it off for weeks with Finn but could never go through with it. But the fright gives her the courage to break up with him. He threatens that she’ll be sorry. After all, Ashley and Finn are two of the most popular kids at their high school, and Finn has never been the dumpee before. But Ashley is relieved she’s finally done it, and vows to enjoy her cruise.
But too many strange coincidences start to happen… After the scare from Finn, the railing on her balcony breaks off and plunges into the water. Only by quick action on her part does she keep herself from following the railing. It doesn’t help when her friends tell her at dinner that the previous summer a girl around the same age went missing and was never found. Rumors are that Taylor fell overboard.
In the course of the week-long cruise, too many close calls happen to Ashley that it’s getting a bit too uncomfortable for her. Except for her friends and her budding relationship with Logan, she is starting to get quite antsy. At one time or another, she suspects almost everyone at trying to harm her.
To find out what happens to Ashley and how she makes out, you’ll just have to pick up your own copy of KILLER CRUISE. The story is a quite heart pounding page-turner. I stayed up till after midnight to finish the book. I had to find out who was behind everything. It wasn’t who I expected!
I enjoyed KILLER CRUISE a lot and hope that Ms. Shaw writes more books in the future. I know I’ll be in line to read them if she does!

5 Stars A Fast Enjoyable Read!!!
I really liked this book!!! It reminded me of R.L. Stine’s Fear Street series. It doesn’t have ghosts, curses, or nothing like that but it’s just that Stine’s books had the whole ‘who is out to get me and why’ vibe to it. I can’t recall reading a book that had that same quality feel to it. I love reading books like that! Although I was able to figure out who it was early on in the book, I still like it. Also there was only one murdered victim, unlike Stine’s where he usually kills off several (and you can pretty much guess which characters he decides to kill off). I liked the fact that Shaw was able to at least kill off a character (after all it is called “Killer Cruise”) and that I didn’t see it coming. The only thing I didn’t like was how stupid the heroine was. I mean yeah they’re not supposed to know who the evil person is and they are supposed to be super smart, but she should have been a little bit more wise. I mean there were obvious clues that, if that were happening to me, I would have suspected other people, and I would have asked my friends to help me investigate ,like little “Nancy Drews” putting clues together and stuff like that (after all the main charcter Ashley did have two best friends Simone and Kristine). I mean, granted, some of the people she suspected did have motives, but none of them seemed psychopathic enough to be a killer. Regardless, I still enjoyed the book very much. I really did and I really do recommend it. Not as bloody or scary as R.L. Stine’s Fear Street, but still an enjoyable fast read!!! I look forward to future works from Jennifer Shaw!!!

4 Stars Alaska with kids
This book is mostly for teenage kids traveling by cruise to Alaska; however it gives adults quick and easy info as well. It covers all you can do in Alaska. It is simple to read and understand and very informative. It offers many ideas and tips to be prepare. It has fun activities at the end of the chapters and many web sites to get more info or resources. It ends with a chapter about Vancouver and Seattle and a mini diary for the kids to record their adventure. I used it to prepare my 4 and 6 years old children while on the trip. We all learned a lot.
